U.S. Senators Cruz and Cornyn Joint Statement on Texans Killed in Algeria

WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn (R-TX) today issued the following joint statement: 

As details come to light about the hostage situation in Algeria, we have learned that two Texans, Frederick Buttaccio of Katy and Victor Lovelady of Houston, were among those killed in a standoff at an Algerian gas complex.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the families and friends of these Texans. In this time of great grief, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
