U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz Statement in Support of the 2013 March for Life

WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) made the following statement in support of the 2013 March for Life:

I commend the thousands of Americans who have traveled to our Nation’s capital to defend life. Today, and every day, we remember the 55 million children whose lives have been lost to abortion. America is blessed to have so many passionate men and women willing to devote their time, efforts, and prayers to protect the unborn. Even though the March for Life is taking place on one of the most bitter cold days of the year, hearts all across this Nation are warmed by the joy and love they are sharing for the culture of life.
