SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Yesterday, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) toured the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas plant in San Antonio and attended a Q&A session with local job creators at a roundtable discussion hosted by the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. 

Several media outlets covered Sen. Cruz’s visit, where he discussed his efforts to deliver on the promises made to the American people and implement fundamental tax and regulatory reform to create more good paying jobs for Texans throughout the state.

"Cruz said during the meeting that some of his priorities going forward are repealing Obamacare, along with tax and immigration reform. ‘It was a pleasure to sit and listen to their concerns,’ Cruz said of his meeting at Mi Tierra. One person with a stake in small business, Donald J. Gonzales, of Estrada Hinojosa Investment Bankers, approved of Cruz's message at the Mi Tierra meeting. ‘It was great to hear how he sees them (Cruz's goals) all being important and critical for the success of small business,’ Gonzales said.
