WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today visited with members of both Waco and Bryan/College Station chambers of Commerce during their annual D.C. fly-in. There, he met with Texas job creators and community leaders, and discussed his efforts to create good-paying jobs and expand opportunity for Texans in every corner of the Lone Star State.
“It was an honor to visit with the Waco and Bryan/College Station chambers today,” Sen. Cruz said. “These small businesses leaders and job creators are fighting every day to create more good-paying jobs for Texans as they navigate overly burdensome federal regulations and crushing taxes. My number one priority is to reduce those regulations, reduce those taxes, simplify the tax code, and make it easier for Texas businesses to grow and prosper. If we can do that in the great state of Texas, then we can do it across the country and truly get our nation back on track.”
