Sen. Cruz Meets with City of McKinney and Port of Victoria Leadership
Discusses important issues facing Texans in Dallas and Victoria communities
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today met with local elected officials from the City of McKinney to discuss the city’s infrastructure programs and initiatives to increase economic development and jobs for hard-working Texans. Sen. Cruz also held a meeting with representatives from the Port of Victoria to discuss addressing burdensome regulations and expanding economic growth opportunities for the Port.
“As I continue to meet with constituents from across the great state of Texas, their number one concern remains job creation and growth. Eliminating burdensome federal regulations and improving infrastructure not only benefits Texas’ small business owners and entrepreneurs, but also helps our communities and cities to thrive and flourish. I am committed to working with the local leaders from the City of McKinney and representatives from the Port of Victoria to boost economic growth and ensure more jobs for Texans.”
