Sen. Cruz: This Week, We Celebrate the Service and Leadership of Law Enforcement Officials Throughout Our Country

HOUSTON, Texas - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today issued the following statement recognizing National Police Week:

"This week, we celebrate the service and leadership of law enforcement officials throughout our country as well as the sacrifices those hard-working men and women make. Their bravery inspires us as they faithfully work to protect our communities and keep Americans safe. We also pause to remember the many men and women in blue who have lost their lives in the line of duty. We pray that God may comfort their families and friends, and that they never forget the noble sacrifice their loved ones made while answering the call to serve. May God bless them, and the United States of America."
