Sen. Cruz discussed the historic tax cuts and major regulatory reform achieved since the start of 2017, and the beneficial effect it’s having on Texans across the Lone Star State.
“The victories we’ve had in the last year and a half, from historic tax cuts to major regulatory reform have been enormously beneficial and are having a really positive effect on Texas,” Sen. Cruz said. “As I talk with business owners from across the state, there’s a renewed sense of optimism and hope. Business owners are investing capital, opening new facilities, hiring new workers, and raising wages, and all of this is benefiting Texans.”
He also highlighted his efforts to expand on the victories achieved moving forward.
“Looking back, the degree to which we’ve been able to deliver on our promises has been quite significant,” Sen. Cruz said. “My view is we need to keep working. We need to keep doing more, focusing on lowering taxes, decreasing regulatory burdens, and creating an environment where economic opportunity is expanding and good paying jobs are being created.”
