Issues statement in advance of Memorial Day
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today issued the following statement in honor of Memorial Day:
“This weekend, Americans pause to remember and pay tribute to the men and women who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. It is the legacy of these patriots, at rest in Arlington, Normandy, and in towns around our great country, that calls each of us to cherish the dearly won gift of liberty. May we never take it for granted, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.”
