Sen. Cruz Gives Floor Speech Calling for Dr. Liu's Release

Sen. Cruz demanded China release imprisoned Chinese human rights activist Dr. Liu Xiaobo before the end of the July 4th Senate recess. Sen. Cruz delivered a speech on the Senate floor calling for Dr. Liu Xiaobo’s release, and for the passage of his legislation to rename the Chinese embassy in Washington, D.C. as ‘Liu Xiaobo Plaza.’
